Fhp accident reports today. starting pay/ veteran officer base pay. Actually FHP is a very good agency, and the benefits are not bad, uniforms, take home car, state wide arrest powers, ability to transfer within the state, FRS High Risk retirement (Its great, I am on it). I've applied with Florida Highway Patrol and I plan on attending the testing date in January. There is some time at night to be proactive, but for the most part it's crashes. Ability to transfer to any other state agency and have your retirement follow you.
