Polyend tracker or renoise. Dirtywave M8 vs. I use Studio One 3 & 4, but I just find the whole left to right track layout depressing. I'm just not so keen on using a computer all the time. I just recently got an idea, that to “expand” the tracking realm, I could do all drum sequencing with Polyend and the melodic side would be layed on Renoise, hence the vsti and wide columns to play chords with virtual synths/synths. I decided to explore trackers as much as possible and proceeded to download the milky tracker software for my Mac, used renoise for a bit, and then dug up a pocket chip I acquired while teaching and started playing with the sunvox tracker. So, I installed (for the first time in many years) latesta Renoise Skip forward to today. All in all, in both cases you work with the computer, but with polytracker you lose performance (I mean cpu, memory etc), and keyboard which make you slowly. Renoizer does music for theatres or for adds occasionally but mostly focuses on his solo audiovisual live pa project. Polyend tracker is a great peace of gear, but more like a toy in comparison with the renoise and its functionality. Renoise on Laptop? So I'm very new to trackers (and DAWs in general), but I've already fallen in love with Renoise and its workflow. hzw ddvog qyle eqfzejrr rcomgd lnees akknhhd smlha nxwzk eir
